Hey cat lovers! Which of these facts did you find the most interesting? 😺

We recently adopted a Bengal kitten. She is now about 3 months old. Lily exhibits a lot of these traits. She is very energetic and playful, but sometimes drives our older cats mad with her playfulness. She has become very fond of Lucy, a two year old tabby. They show each other a lot of mutual affection. Lily is very clever and adventurous. She has quickly become an important family member.🇦🇺😺

Nothing like a Bengal screech at a closed door to wake up the house at night. Once they find their voice, look out...love the little imps though. The kittens are 24/7 toddlers, and the adults marginally better.

We have a bengal, and have had her for a few years now. We got her as a rescue, and she's so affectionate and talkative. Not quite as high energy as most bengals are depicted. She might be one of my favorites, because she's always so happy to see me, and even spent some time with me a couple years back when I had some, family struggles.

I had a Bengal for 19 years. She was the sweetest, most devoted and most beautiful cat you have ever seen. I have always had cats but dealing with Shundor (Beauty in Bengali) was a learning experience for us both. Bengals are insatiably curious and will poke their nose into any new thing so you have to be a little careful about what you leave lying around. They also require more stimulation than most domestic breeds so you always need to have toys around and lots of interactive play time. Two caveats to owning a Bengal, (actually they believe they own you); they have very long back legs and are incredible jumpers. Shundor could jump from the floor to the top of my 4 1/2 foot dresser without even thinking about it, then when they get up there they are annoyed that it isn't a nice place to sleep because its too crowded so they will push everything off until they are comfy. Second they are incredibly vocal. They talk all the time! They are really funny since it is fairly easy to see what they are calling about. Food is obvious, but Shundor used to get up on the bed and imperiously demand that it was time for me to come to bed with her because she was sleepy. They also have a kind of continuous chirp or ''ack ack ack" going up and down scales. But, they are loud! If your Bengal wants something it is best to obey immediately. To wrap up, she was the best cat I ever had and I still miss her 15 years after her passing.

My brother once worked at an animal shelter-ish company, and they had one stunning bengal female cat. And let me tell u she was a hell of work for them! They require so much attention really and are very active. Also not good to leave them alone for so long! But they are so sweet and loving cats, I definitely recommend them if u have the time and commitment

We got a pair of black part bengals. They seem to have most of the typical traits - including a gorgeous coat. They look plain black but when light hits them you can see stunning shiny brown bengal patterns. Fun cats to work for. If a bit noisy.

Best cats ever! If you get one though, for you and the cat's sanity, make sure you're set up for it exercise wheel is a must. Earplugs for the 3 am banshee yelling helps. Great with kids dogs and other cats too

I had a couple that pulled into our preserve in a very expensive car, who were dressed to the nines, she had perfect makeup neither had a single hair out of place and their clothes were worth more than my old Silverado. They had the most magnificent Bengal cat. The cat interested me more than his owners.

Mine do not Like a leash at all!! Both are picky eaters; my male enjoys raw meat occasionally. Both are very very loving ~My cats are not particularly fond of water...umm. My male is not that Bright, my female is extremely intelligent... Love this breed of cat !!!!

The bengal cat will be illegal soon in my country (the netherlands). On 1th january 2024. That's because as he said in this video it's a hybrid with a leopard cat

i just picked up a pair of half sibling girls, they're 5th gen, one being a snow mink and the other a pretty brown. they're not my first experience with a hybrid, which is why we decided to get them, when we realized our elderly tuxes(one a barn cat and the other a rescue) were nearing the rainbow bridge. sadly one tux went down in oct to cancer(14.5 years) and the other one to renal failure yesterday(17.5 years). coming home with that now empty carrier for the final time yesterday was brutal, and having the two new girls helped(we only got them a couple of days ago and they were kept separate). my previous one who helped raising the tuxes, was a F1 hybrid of a bobcat/siamese, a definitely unplanned accident, when her purebred mom got out in her first heat. she lived to the ripe old age of 19 going on 20 and was a serious handful until the day she went. she had the exact same traits listed for the bengals, plus a few more because of how close she was to the wild side, and it's because of her we decided on bengals this time. people need to understand the risks and benefits of how many generations removed they are from the wildcat side and how much work they require because of the personality traits that come with a more recent hybrid species. it's just like with different dog breed have different requirements, from working dogs to giant lap dog danes, you need to consider what you're willing to do to keep them happy... or you're going to have issues and a very unhappy owner of your life.
