Soaking them overnight helps remove the phytic acid which blocks nutrient absorption, but does have antioxidant properties. Good video.

1. Don't ignore sunflower seeds which have much more in the way of B vitamins and vitamin E than pumpkin seeds Also, with both, it is pretty important to eat them sprouted, which removed anti-nutrients. I buy them sprouted but it's easy to do at home, just soak them for a day or two and then dry. You can only do this if they're raw, however.

Actually, Pumpkin Seeds contain Phytic Acid, which blocks the absorption of many minerals and/or vitamins, including Zinc and others. The seeds MUST be germinated (soaked) for at least 8 hours, in a solution of Water and healthy salt, to remove the phytic acid. Then dehydrate them, then consume them... Thanks for the video... Oh! I eat about 1/2 Cup, every day... 🙂
