Rebuilding, restoration seen in Lahaina during first look into devastation zone

For the first time since August we are getting a look into the fire devastation zone in Lahaina. But some areas are no longer showing devastation but rebuilding and renewal.

Yeah progress. Hope more lots are cleared and others can have speedy results to get the permits needed. May they work with architects and contractors with good intentions. Maybe the crew do a good job and not cut corners. Amen.

Why are you building a wood frame structure again. These should be steel studs or better yet block

Rebuilding homes with wood so another fire can burn the home down again is foolish. Use all steel and concrete so no flamable materials are used. Also use metal roofs that cannot catch fire. These rebuilding efforts using wood framing are extremely foolish.
