I probably will purchase the new 4k max but I won't be rushing to do so. I wish Amazon would allow user to assign apps to the app buttons.

16GB is long over due. I hope Amazon doesn't bloatware this and eat up the benefit of the 16GB for their purposes. They should have made the special button programmable instead of fixed.

I just received it. Update from the previous 4K Max. I mostly wanted the larger storage, wifi 6E, and the ambient experience. I previously purchased the Pro remote. This should have come with that remote too. I do like that the new remote has a "recently" button. That's something I've always wanted. However, I'll keep using the Pro remote. I haven't noticed a speed increase with the Wifi 6E, unfortunately. I tested it and there was actually a slight decrease in DL speed.

Looks like, in my situation, it’s not something that would be an advantage at the present time, so I am sticking with the earlier version. But great review as always, thanks Luke!

I like that when you click on a movie they show everywhere else you can see it for free, or/and other apps you may find it for less. that feature is really 😎

I would like to upgrade my Firestick to this new 4K Max, but I’m not entirely sure on how to “transfer” all of the apps I presently have downloaded on my existing Firestick 4K. Do you have any video tutorials on how to do that? That would be SO helpful. Thanks

I just don't like the Amazon home screen it just looks too big of a mess. Roku is not perfect but it's more simplified and looks better. Roku is based more on what the customer wants then the company forcing you to see a bunch of stuff you don't want to see.

I have a Motorola router modem, model Mg8702, that is in my rec room basement. On a two story house, will the signal reach up two stories? The position - the modem in the basement would be directly below the tv area in the upstairs second floor room.

I'm thinking about getting a new wifi router and updated streaming devices since streaming is becoming glitchy. This new Firetv 4K Max is a solid candidate with the upgrades. I'm not a gamer and live in a 2 br apartment and most of the reviews for routers are geared towards gamers and people in large houses. Any recommendations for a reliable router that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Dolby True HD 7.1 is possible as lossless decoding or passthrough? Or what exactly does "7.1 Surround" mean? At Audio Passtrough it says up to 5.1

Live guide would need to provide access to other services Like YTTV, Hulu live etc for me to go to Fire again
