A charger design for lead acid wont charge a lithium properly, so why you dont need to change the charging system on your bike if it too was designed for lead acid batteries?

the charging is my biggest issue as they need to be balanced charged. what they need is built in balance charger on the battery then when the bike charges it, its safe. I've seen a couple of these swell, and leak out lithium on bikes that had bad rectifiers and super charged at 25 volts. thankfully it did not catch on fire but we all know not to long ago with all the laptops and even cell phones that get hot, fire or burn because of in proper charging circuits

its still to early to use these on motorcycles if you ask me

Your charging system dropping below 11.5v won't damage the battery, it just won't charge. You don't want the cell voltage to drop below 11.5 because might not come back.

Thanks for the videos!👍👍👍

I hope you will make another indepth/lamens term video from my questions/topics in this email and post it for others.

   Here go's,
I'm interested in the antigravity 480cca lithium battery for the cost savings of nearly $40 on amazon. Thou, concerned about, where it says, excellent for everyday use in bikes up to 1500 enginge cc, mentioned on their website under best uses.    Why is that?

I have a 2013 Dyna StreetBob, 96ci engine. My stock HD battery is about 320cca.

How will I know if this one will work or not, or do I need the antigravity battety with 680cca? What is the dell with enging cc and battery cca?

Please explain because I'n interested in buying a lithium battery and the size battery that will fit in my battery box in my scoot!

Also I've read and watched so many things on lead acid and lithium. That I'm now not sure.

Which is the right and best battery and top rated brand? Also charger?

I like the idea if light weight and longer lasting with a lithium. It seems longterm cost effective.

Though what about charging? How and when, and can you mess up the battery and ruin the life of it even if using a lithium (LiFepo4) charger?

And do they get hot and what makes them blow up? If that happens to motorcycle lithium batteries.

I can testify HD brand battery, NOT so good. If I went lead acid again, i'd rather have an Interstate battery.

PLEASE HELP, share links and websites on this topic.

Ride Safe, Carl ✌
