Love the video. Just curious, what are you actually turning off by setting the dip switches to the OFF position? Like what is their function to begin with?

The best thing about that machine is that you can see the transducer and thermistor data when u access it through the service menu. It makes everything easier being able to see all the data and feedback from the system live

Do you leave the dip switches in the off postion or turn them back on once reading the correct dc voltage?

What should I check first? I have a single heat pump serving two furnaces on Dakin One stats, one is communicating just fine, the other is stuck with a communication error. Initial problem was after a power outage. The upstairs unit began communicating again after I power cycled, downstairs did not.

My Daikin for suddenly stopped working. The air handler still shows up on the thermostat as a communicating piece of equipment but not the heat pump. I checked the unit outside and it seems to be receiving power as light on surge protector is green. Breaker was found tripped. Any help?

An hour ago my AC was working fine (although battling Oklahoma heat) and tonight it said communication error on the thermostat, then the support sent me to a subscription sign up page for further help with the issue. I’ve never been more supportive of a nuclear war. This all looks and sounds like a couple hundred dollars I don’t have

Hi guys I have an older Daikin model FTXS12LVJU (for the head)- it recently started to power cycle constantly. Once in a while I can get it to work for a good 15minutes or so before it starts turning off and on repeatedly. Anyone seen this? Daikin says i should replace the main board on the head.. but they cant guarantee that's the issue. Thanks!

You started this video by saying the Daikin Fit is great at dehumidifying. I totally disagree. I am having a horrible time getting mine to dehumidify my house.
