oh man, those times were awesome...
here's my story:
I started yugioh playing with a japanese started deck, which had future cards that the english version didn't, also I didn't even know their effects, but there was a kid named eric who was into japanese yugioh cards, and used to tell me some effects of the cards I had, but of course, I was looked down upon, because other kids didn't want to duel me because I would have an advantage, of the future effect monsters, such as my high level monster "gearfried the thunder dragon knight" or something like that, he was of course, japanese, he's a 2800 attack hitter, 8 star monster, his effect is, if he was brought out by sacrificing 3 monsters instead of 2, it would cause a raigeki effect, so anyways, I started buying english cards little by little, and replacing the jap cards with yugioh promo cards that I got from the gameboy game, sinister serpent, harpie's feather duster, graceful dice, and more, so I put together a cheap ass beat down deck, it had battle ox, and harpie's brother, (because I didn't like lajin) and mechanical chaser was very expensive being a tournament pack monster, at my school, one of the dudes I used to play with at lunch time named ricky, had gemini elf, goblin attack force..., spear dragon, all the good ones, and I would still be able to win most of the time, thanks to my trap holes and stuff...my deck was very well made even though it didn't have any expensive card in it...

a few months passed by, and one day, on my way to school, I saw an exodia set, and I was like, whaaat? exodia? isn't that the 5 piece monster that the rare hunter beat joey with in the anime? yes!!! it was, and I couldnt believe what I was looking at, the price was 5 bucks, and I had to buy it, even tho it looked weird, the whole cards were shiny, but I still wanted it, I didn't care that it was fake, so I build my deck around exodia, with sangan, witch of the black forest, fake trap, and the dark door, and the rest of the cards, (all legit, except, well, the exodia set which was expensive as it could be) so the deck was finally finished, and I loved it, my friends would let me play them with a fake exodia, and some that weren't my friends, didn't...I remember there was an exodia kid, named jake, with the legit parts, and I always wanted to duel him, but he always said no...weeks past by, and I still insisted on dueling with him, until one day he said "ok, fake exodia boy, let's see what you got" we dueled and everybody started watching us, it was so epic for me, it felt like I was dueling for everything I believed for...first round he won, second I won, and then, third one, I pulled out the last exodia piece...and he said "I am disqualiafing you, for playing with fake cards"...I didn't say anything, and started to pack up...and when I got up to leave, he said hey, it was a great duel...and offered me a handshake, I shook his hand, smiling back at him...

later on, we became very good friends, he even invited home, to play some yugioh duels...

I have 2 1st edition Gemini Elves and 2 Japanese ones with different rarities. One of them looks like starlight rarity and then 3 more secret rare non 1st edition. I am a man of culture.

Ano no, psa 10 value doesnt count, u gotta pull a mint card, pay to and send it off to get graded and then maybe if the grader woke up in a good mood or they ease off on the pop control u might make free money lmao
