The Scenic Section is from the source of the river near Burton to Kent.
The Heritage Section is from Kent to Cuyahoga Falls.
The Gorge Section is in Cuyahoga Falls.
The Cuyahoga Valley Section is from Cuyahoga Falls to Independence and includes Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The Burning River Section is from Independence to downtown Cleveland, where the river meets Lake Erie.
