Only in baseball you can see Mitchell have one of the greatest plays of the year with bringing back that homerun and the worst plays by losing that pop-up in the sun .

I am a mild mannered guy. Hardly ever cuss. But you should have heard me last night.
1. When I saw Mitchell is batting clean-up. With you here. Thought he should have been better.
2. A whole level higher when Mears came in a 0 - 0 game.
3. Bit milder when Monastario was announced as a pinch hitter. ( 1 for 10 this year)

Not the end of the world dropping 2 of 3 here. Division games are always prime for struggling teams to shine / upset the current king of the hill. MIL still has opportunities to improve their standing in the playoff seeding. Big series coming up with Philly mid Sept.

These two games really put me in a bad mood . I think they were poorly managed at the end .
I don't know where we picked up this Mears pitcher but he can't be the 7th inning high leverage man ! Then Deven Williams obviously didn't have it that night and maybe be was over worked . But pat Murphy had to see that . I saw it and I'm a just a dumb guy watching a baseball game .

Taylor had loads more power, but Perkins is elite defender. We have loads of great defensive outfielders, I want power from my outfielders.

Murphy with Mears is like Counsell with Matt Bush. Like a toddler with a new toy. It's broken but he keeps trying it hoping it will work. Mears is garbage, but yet he keeps pitching in high leverage.

Do you expect them to win every game? What team has not looked bad a t some point? Our longest losing streak is 3 games. So get a grip, still can have the best record in the N.L.

Perkins return: This should help Murphy giving him a 4th option to rotate in and out of the outfield rotation. This outfield is great. All are fast, good arms, and have leaping ability to rob homeruns. Hope all four can go injury free through the rest of the season.

Prediction: Nick Mears is cut (DFA'd, or somehow gone from the roster) . I'm making this prediction after listening to Pat Murphy's take. He said, "...it's unacceptable" referring to Mears' pitching. So, that's what I thought the last time Mears pitched. Getting behind in the count, walking guys he shouldn't, etc. So, I'll go on record saying I'd rather have Elvis Peguero. Unless Enoli Paredes is ready to come back. The other option might be to experiment on Jacob Miserowski, who just got his first triple A save not long ago.

Mitchell seems to have a burr in his saddle. During games we will see Chourio, Frelick, Perkins playing loose, smiling much of the time...Mitchell always has a grumpy look on his face. Doesn't fit in and is in a constant struggle at the plate. I mentioned my disgust with him a month ago and get ripped by so called expert commenters on this site. Boo hoo. Where is Joey Weimer when we need him. lol

2 podcasts ago I guaranteed the Brewers lose 2 of 3 against the Cardinals. This team is way too predictable and the offense is beyond weak! Team is going nowhere in October AGAIN. Same thing year after year, and it always comes down to talent. The brewers are goodwill shop buyers due to a cheap owner. I disagree with you Chuck when you read my post on your show……Mark A does not want to win. His spending shows it year after year with the same result in every playoff series
