Woodturning - Natural Edge Bowl
Показать описание
This is video shows the process I used to rough out a natural edge bowl, dry it in a box of shavings for a couple of months and then turn it to its finished dimensions.
I picked up this wood in my neighborhood from a Facebook marketplace post I saw for free wood. I’m not completely sure of the species however I know I’ve turned it before. If any of you guys know leave a comment below!
As you’ll see I used Mylands Sanding Sealer, followed by Ack’s Abrasive Paste and Polish. One part I forgot to film was applying Deft Satin Spray Lacquer.
I was really pleased with the way it turned out and surprised how well the bark stayed on and how minor the cracking was.
If you’ve got any comments, suggestions or feedback please leave them in the comments below! Thanks to all of you for watching!
I’d like to thank everyone that has supported me throughout my short YouTube journey and as a reward I plan to have a giveaway when I hit 500 subscribers. I know that this could take a while, however if you guys can share these videos it should speed up the process!
