I was asked to do a must-have Top 10 Elvis album you must own.
This is for any new collector of Elvis, or even if you've been collecting Elvis longer.

In the USA the original On Stage did show February, 1970. Probably why the Friday Music and Music On Vinyl went with original cover

Hi Mark another great upload I do agree with your top 10 you always have to start with the very first album my top 10 would be elvis/ his hand in mine/ how great thou art/ from Elvis in memphis/ 50 elvis fans can't be wrong/ today/ elvis Country/ raised on rock/ promised land/ from Elvis presley boulevard there's just a different selection of songs to listen to that's why elvis will always be the king take care

What an excellent and interesting list, Mark. You are right not to include the "genre" albums in a list for newcomers. Of course, the best known Gospel, Soundtrack and Live recordings will be included on the compilations you included. Those albums will be sought out in time! However, I must point out. "On Stage", as the title suggests, is indeed a 100% live album!

Thank you Mark..."Elvis Golden Records" the original US Album 1958 has a different content 😉...talking about ORIGINAL ELVIS PRESLEY Albums; before all of the UK and worldwide Releases! Elvis' ORIGINAL VINYL Album's and Recordings were first released in the USA...it's a 100% fact! But really good iconic and interesting Elvis Albums following and are still available since 1956...but these are NOT "Originals". It's my humble opinion only😌...i LOVE the USA 1st Album Vinyl's, the REAL THING!

Hi the moody blue album came out on blue vynil in USA before elvis died originally as a limited addition and then on black vynil but after elvis passed Rca pressed it on blue vinyl again making the USA black vinyl a rare album it also came out on green and white and I believe on red vinyl these are very rare albums elvis's first album is my all time favourite
