My Mom shared the same birthday as Elvis n she loved the music he was famous for and I liked it too. When she passed away a week after her 74th birthday in 2011, I found this CD in her collection before her funeral and had it played on a loop for the whole 3 hours...I did not know about his gospel songs n absolutely love each song and play them every Jan 8, Jan 15 and Jan 20 (funeral), light a candle and pray that she is happy with her family and Jesus up in heaven. Thanks for showing me Jesus Christ as a little boy...see you one day soon lil' lady! 🙏

Elvis was a true believer in the Lord...he exhumed that love and true Christian kindness in everything he did and sang. Our world was too cruel to him . His many acts of anonymous charity, spoke of his true humanity. He loved to sing about his love of God and in doing so, brought peace and joy and knowledge to millions who otherwise may never have known that "taking it to the Lord in prayer" was what made life for him honest and true.
