SYNOPSIS:

Probably one the most beautiful movie of the year for me (I saw it 3 times) - for those who are looking for a nice movie, with a nice storytelling, it's the one you should consider. Beautifull songs and a very nice acting act from the actors. Well done!

This turned out to be a well timed biopic since Celine's performing career has been cut short. You can tell that the person who wrote this is a comedian because there are little jokes in it that are hilarious like the name of Aline's first album. It doesn't take itself too seriously. I love movies that mix drama and humor.

i don't really like Céline, it was never a thing for me. i just watched this movie and it gave me a whole different perspective, i came out of it teary eyed and had new admiration for the singer and so much more . can't begin to understand why this movie could be criticized

Como primer película puede estar bien, pero la vida de Celine es dura, y no es edulcorada como dicen los periodistas faranduleros, de hecho sufrió carencias, se le murieron seres queridos entre otras cosas. Es una mujer muy fuerte y decidida. Esta película la siento melosa. Y pues para cantar a Celine solo Celine.

Very caricatural if you listen to the dialogues in french canadian. The subtitles do not express that.

Sadly I haven't heard good things about this film and it devastates me I've been so looking forward to this film for so long also I wish it wasn't in French lol yes I know and understand Celine is from Quebec so it makes sense that it would be in French but it's tedious to have to read quick moving subtitles then you can't focus on what's going on in the movie basically she has American fans that love her and want to see this film as well! if you you guys get what I'm implying..🤔
