Valérie Lemercier is an amazing comedic actress, I am sure she's going to nail it. There is a funny side and goofy side to Celine Dion and Valerie is so good in these kind of roles.

Well it is not a real biopic but a Céline Dion life inspired movie. It is the first sentence of the movie : inspired by Celine Dion's life but not a real biopic. Thus, there are lots of created facts in it but if you accept this, the movie is both funny and touching. The main actress is the director of the movie and is famous in France. She is a gagwoman who often uses absurd to create humor and often used to play children character in her sketch (important to know to understand her choice at the beginning of the movie). Her family background looks like Celine Dion's one so there is a bit of her story in this movie too. So don't take this movie as a real biopic like Edith Piaf's one because you will find it weird.

To those commenting the actress doesn't have any close resemblance to Celine Dion, this movie is a FICTIONALIZED portrayal of Celine Dion. The character's name here is Aline Dieu and this movie is just fiction. It's not a biographical movie like Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, or Respect. Of course there will be criticisms but to watch it with an understanding that the character life in the movie is not actually Celine Dion's life! Chill out people. If you want to watch the movie, go ahead, if you don't want to, no one's forcing you to watch it!
