Simms so mad. Can’t reset his draft opinion, has to carry it into the season. Knows his draft takes are where all of his credibility comes from, NOT his pro football commentary.

Jayden Daniels hasn't thrown one TD and missed a wide open 5 yard pass. Jayden Daniels couldn't score against a Dolphins defense consisting of 2s, 3s, and 4s. That should be concerning.

Jacoby didn’t have a good game and it wasn’t even okay, I’m sorry but Drake Maye was so much better than Jacoby, not saying he’s better but I didn’t see any of what Chris Simms saw his footwork looked mostly fine and I didn’t see him run all that much I saw him throw 3 really good passes and his receiver dropped them

Chris Simms can't admit he was so wrong about Drake Maye. It shows Simms character flaws.

Simms always has these awkward takes where he clearly doesn't like someone, so he shits on them. He did the same thing even with Brady, so take what he says with a grain of salt. Drake made some damn good plays, but Chris "Superbowl" Simms doesn't seem to think so? Well, guess he just sucks then.

Chris simms is almost always wrong, this makes me feel great about Maye. Simms only knows how to be a bad QB and an even worse analyst. Never ranked Brady the best QB cause he was salty that he kept getting cut from his own teams

I'm totally confused now. I watched JT O'sullivans breakdown podcast on Drake the day after the Philly game and he was very impressed with him. I also watched a Drew Bledsoe interview where he talked about the coaching greatness of his former teammate - Alex van Pelt, so I do believe he's in good hands - and those hands also include Jerod Mayo and an owner who won't put pressure on the team to play him.

Hey Chris Simms. I saw the game too. Open your eyes! Drake's reluctance to throw the ball was because nobody was open and he's looking for a receiver to throw to. It was that reluctance to throw until he had someone open which showed why he didn't get a single interception. And for you to say that Jacoby had a better game with his interception, his inability to lead his team down the field once and had no score on the board while he played and that he played fine, while Drake led his team downfield twice for a field goal and a second time for a touchdown shows your prejudice against Drake. Unlike Jacoby, He showed poise in the pocket and was only sacked once, running for a touchdown when nobody was open in the red zone. Yes, he has a ways to go, but so doesn't Caleb and Jayden and Bo nix. Drake's always the first one to the stadium and the last guy to leave, throwing to Polk and Baker for an hour every night after practice is over. I believe the guy who said that Chris Simms will have to apologize to Drake by week 8. Chris Simms, you're lucky to have a job after ESPN laid off 50 people.

Chris Simms is a dope. Knows nothing about QB play. Still living off his father's name. Usually wrong on everything.

This is more of an attack on Jacoby Brissett who has been considered QB1 since start of camp.

Keep in mind this is the same dude that kept telling you that Wilson wouldn't bust

Simms can hate on him but to actually say that post route pass to Baker was bad makes him sound like an idiot. That was a great pass that should’ve been caught.

3:50 no idea what simms is on about here. Rewatch the play, was not a wobbler and the CB was on the WR’s back. That was the only place you could put that ball to make it catchable and not an int/pass break-up.
