Launched on December 25, 2021, and fully operational since July, the JWST offers glimpses of the cosmos that were inaccessible to us before. The JWST, like the Hubble Space Telescope, is in space, so it can take photographs with incredible detail that are free of the distortions caused by Earth's atmosphere. However, while Hubble orbits Earth at an altitude of 540 kilometers, the JWST is 1.5 million kilometers away, far beyond the Moon. It can collect light from across the universe well into the infrared portion of the electromagnetic spectrum from this position, away from the interference of our planet's reflected heat. When coupled with the JWST's larger mirror, cutting-edge detectors, and numerous other technological advances, this ability allows astronomers to peer back into the universe's earliest epochs. In today's video, we bring you five new images captured by the James Webb Space Telescope, as well as a recent discovery that shook the entire space industry. Therefore, make sure to stick around, as we discuss this discovery at the end of the video.

I now understand how incredibly small we are and how vast and infinite God's creation really is. Glad that we are born in this generation to witness such incredible sights

Anyone please tell me your thoughts on viewing the past. If somehow we could get so far away from Earth where the events of the past haven't reached yet could we technically go there with some unbelievable future technology and view Earth time where our reality is finally arriving from that time? No interactions just see back in time? Like an example being Stars may have died but we have yet to see as the message from many light years hasn't reached us so we are technically looking back in time. Hope I explained my question correctly thanks. It's something I have been thinking about.
