MUCH respect for Mr. Marquez, BUT, that machine is trying to kill whoever tries to tame it. NO computer aided nanny’s to keep you on it. Brutal power delivery. Nowhere near the level of suspension or tire development that you’ve enjoyed throughout your career. Honestly, Please don’t do it. I would hate to lose you and damage a piece of art/treasure. What you ride today, and this GEM are completely different things. Listen to what Mick Doohan says about this freak of nature.

The Honda collection hall is a fabulous place to visit. It's three levels of both 2 and 4 wheel racing history. I would love to see a return of the 2 strokes. But unfortunately it'll never happen.

With the 500 you can not make even the slightest mistake, or it will launch you to the moon!

I wouldn't recommend it.
It would be a huge learning curve for any modern day rider. To try and ride this bike the way it was it was ridden by the men from this era.
No 6-way axis ECU controlling the throttle and braking for you. This machine would just have a field day with maiming and killing a modern day rider's.

Better to start him on the 250 from this time period first.
