Dude I can honestly say that after keeping up with you guys for so many years... You have actually shown me the right way to pair cichlids... Never in a million years would I have looked at the sevrum as the most versatile cichlid... U can mix them up with virtually any type of tropical fish... They get really big but in my opinion they pretty much match their tank mates aggression levels... With small mouth and larger body they give you the ability to mix them with monsters or traditional community schooling fish... On top of the color combinations they have available... Definitely became the best centerpiece idea fish or even a complimentary fish to monster cichlids... I have even seen people have luck mixing them with African cichlids which I wouldn't recommend obviously but they hold their own wherever they are and can be as peaceful as goldfish 😂

They are literally the best fish. They have so much personality as the grow. Mine runs my tank and he is not the biggest. He doesn't attack just keep everyone in check and is always front and center dancing waiting for food

I've got my EBAs with clown loaches and roseline sharks. Thanks for the other suggestions, i was thinking of going with rainbow fish.

I have a couple of electric blue acaras in one tank with 2 angels, 5 golden lyretail mollies, 2 bristlenose plecos, 5 java loaches, 5 panada corydoras and 10 zebra danios. No agression whatsoever frfom anyone in that tank. And acaras are so beautiful!
