Xperia with 120hz screen did the best job

Many people argue that all devices should have been set to 60hz. I disagree, when you purchase a device you would use it at max hz because that’s one of the things you pay for. If the iPhones had high refresh rates I would set them to it as well unfortunately they don’t.
Just remember that if you want you can choose to set the devices with high refresh rates to 60hz to save battery life. This test however is designed to reflect real world usage and I would 100% choose 90/120hz if it’s available on a device.

I do acknowledge that towards the end of the test the brightness of iPhone 12 was a little lower, it must have auto-adjusted. I had turned auto brightness off. It seems that this is a common issue (maybe with iOS 14 or netflix idk) My bad! It would have still won (maybe not with such a lead). I will make sure to avoid this issue in the future.

I'm actually highly impressed with Xperia 5 ii. It had 120hz on, still came in second. Now I'm wondering what would have been the result if it was set on normal 60hz...

Now, if you set the xperia 5 ii on 60hz, the phone is just amazing. I migrated from iphone 11 to this amazing phone. I have no regrets. I can play hires music, 3.5mm jack, oled, 120 hz. 256gb+256micro sd.... it is just brutal. My only complain is the camera processing and hdr photos.

Lower brightness = longer battery life. Helps that iphone is rocking a 60hz screen; uses less power.

I got the 12 2 weeks ago and the battery life is amazing when I woke up at 7 Am is was at 100% now at 4 pm it’s at 68% that’s amazing I recommend it if your looking to upgrade

xperia 5 ii definitely a great phone it lasted so long with a 120hz panel and 1080x2500 if iphone 12 had similar specs this 5ii they would end up in the same time
