Con las focal se escucha si se cae un alfiler al suelo. Las oberon tienen un sonido muy agradable.

Both very nice and all the similar ranges of both Brands, are of these i appreciate much (focal chora, aria, and now the new vestia, as for the dali. Oberon and opticon). Very honest and fair comparison!

Dali for vocal music ( more natural sounding ) more well rounded. Focal for Classical music ( brighter, in your face sounding, more detail ). Harsher upper detail for female voices. But, both had there own character.

As an owner of the Oberon 3s, I really appreciate these comparisons. So thank you so much, JMI. Of course, it would be absurd to listen your videos through my Dali's to hear differences, so instead I listen from my desktop pc into an Ifi Hip Dac 2 into Hifiman Edition XS headphones for a more objective presentation of your comparisons. As an FYI, recently I added a Paradigm Cinema sub and three Cinema surroundst to my Dali fronts and the effect of this 5.1 setup is fun as hell.

I love Focal! Their inverted dome tweeters are pure magic, very crisp and detailed without sounding too bright, harsh, or shrill. Unfortunately, they cost 2X here in the US compared to what they cost in Europe. The Chora 806 is $1000 US here, but in Europe for $1000 US you can buy the Aria 906, which is $2200 US here. If I had money for new speakers, my first choice would be the 906 or KEF R3, which is also $2200 here in the US. In the very budget level, the Dali Spektor 1, at $279 is a good choice at that price, and compares well to other good speakers in that budget level, like the Polk XT20

The clapping on the third song shows the Focal is way more accurate in timbre. Also check out the "hotel" at 0:32 vs 1:18, the Dali is over exeggerated there until it sounds weird. I dont care about bass that much as you can add subs, mids and highs are way more crucial.

Personalmente yo estoy In love con la gama obreron de Dali, en la comparativa focal vs MA me gustaron más las MA y en la comparativa MA vs Dali, me gustaron un poco más las Dali, por lo que pensaba que las dali se "fumarían" a las Focal, pero en el audio nada es tan sencillo, creo que la Dalí es más fidedigna y refinada, pero esas focal tienen una escala y una autoridad que madre mía

las Focal suenan mas grandes el tweeter mas intenso, pero las Dalies son muy buenas tambien, precisamente estoy esperando unas Dali Oberon 1 para las voy a poner en mi cuarto, pero tambien las quiero comparar con unas B&W 605 Y 606 Que tengo a ver que tal, Gracias por el Video. Yo esperaba escuchar mayor diferencia entre unas y otras. Yo tengo unas DALI Oberon 1 y pensaba migrar a estas Chora 806.
Ahora ya no estoy tan seguro. Me gustan algo más las Oberon 3, la verdad la calidad de sonido no parece ser muy diferente de las Oberon 1.
Yo tengo un receiver Cambridge y un subwoofer Polk. Los bajos no son un problema ni el volumen.
Ni sé si será necesario hacer el cambio.

For me on the classical track, the Focal laid the hall out accurately. For recording purposes the DALI were toed out too much and lacked image focus. In your room am sure you heard things differently. Thanks for this. Good selection of music for testing, but don't forget to add some well recorded Piano next time, It tells a lot. Gracias ! Si da la impresión, que las Focal tiene un poco más de definición, además de tener una respuesta con más fineza, como ellos mismos dijeron agudos sedosos, tengo unas Torres Oberon 5 y estoy pensando en hacer un Upgrade con algún modelo de Focal x)

Focal tiene mas sensación de amplitud el sonido que Dali veo que para el cine Focal iria mejor que Dali eso si en HiFi esta claro que Dali tiene mas pureza de sonido mas sobrio en grabes y focal como que suena dulzon ..en ese sentido
