I’m a teen and planning on starting building my wardrobe so this video really helped. I love the minimalist vibes and they seem really grown up and fashionable.

I lovee your style so much! I also wanted to add some notes about materials to ensure they last long!

denim: 95% cotton and up (I personally go for 100% and wear it in bc stiff denim hides a food baby the best)
coats/sweaters/turtlenecks: try and find ones with a relatively high wool content, even some cashmere if possible! high acrylic/polyester contents pill easily with wear and usually look "old" after a year of constant wear, and also aren't as warm.
tshirts: cotton will last the longest!!
shirts: cotton is best, linen/hemp/tencel (for summer/breathability, but can be slightly see through)

some of these materials are more expensive, but pick and choose what you invest in based on how much you'll wear it!! I personally choose to invest in coats/sweaters the most, and to save money, like to thrift and alter them (taking out shoulder pads, adjusting length, changing buttons)

I love how much variety there is! These closet essentials videos are usually a bit too minimal to be functional or things that most people already have but yours is really useful! Definitely a helpful video for thinking about pieces to invest in!
