The 2025 Genesis G90 sits atop the Korean luxury brand's lineup as its flagship sedan, and it certainly looks the part. A striking shield-shaped grille announces the G90's arrival up front, accentuated by slick two-piece headlights that link the luxury sedan to Genesis' other offerings, like the GV80 SUV. Behind that grille sits a smooth and potent twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 offered in two states of tune, with 375 horsepower as standard and an optional electric supercharger boosting output to 409 ponies. The G90 stretches over 17 feet long, creating a spacious cabin that is decked out with lush materials and a unique, ornate design. Standard nappa leather pairs with genuine wood trim, and the G90 comes with a bevy of standard features that tend to cost extra on pricier German competition. The seats can provide a deep massage while the powered doors open and close on their own, and there's even a fragrance diffuser that disperses pleasing scents throughout the cabin.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The price of the 2025 Genesis G90 starts at $90.950 and goes up to $101.250 depending on the trim and options.

A significant price jump accompanied the G90's 2023 redesign, but it still undercuts European competitors the Mercedes-Benz S-class and most BMW 7-series models. Plus, both G90 models come fully stocked, leaving exterior and interior colors the primary order-sheet concerns. The chief G90 buyer decision is whether to spring for the more powerful turbocharged and supercharged version or stay with the base model. Of course, we'd pick the latter. The approximately $10k upcharge represents about 10 percent of the overall purchase price, which in this high-ambition segment is a stone-cold deal. In addition to the added power, it also brings an air suspension, reclining rear seats with heat, ventilation, and massage, and upgraded audio.

I currently own a G80 Sport, and in 2025 I'm upgrading to a G90 . The only marques I consider superior are Rolls, Bentley, and Maybach, but we're talking an extra $300K for those.

I love my G90. Its design and thoughtful features and driving experience… Only thing I would wish for is a better powertrain for performance and economy. Here hoping for the facelift.

I have a G90, but it is the previous version. 2021, the Ultimate model with the 420hp V8. I actually prefer mine to this one. Although this is also pretty.

I don't like the side by side rotary nobs in the console. Until you really get used to it I think it's too easy to grab the wrong nob.

I have never liked these grille's. The mushrooms coming up is wild. I wonder if you can get a cooler for the wine like other hi end models. Loved the dash merging into the door. Liked the flashing lights on the side. The pedals should have had more chrome. Like the color on both outside and inside.
