You can really really really tell that most people who are commenting on this thread either ride a bike, take the bus, or drive a beater. You have no idea what you’re talking about if you’re saying you’d take a Mercedes or a BMW over this just because “it’s a overpriced Hyundai”.
A friend of mine owns an S500 from 2018, it was purchased NEW from the dealership, and the car “often” has to go to the repair shop for maintenance. It’s not like Mercedes, BMW, and Rolls-Royce are free from issues just because they are more expensive. Likewise, Hyundai has come a long way and scores higher in reliability than any of the aforementioned German brands.
I own a Porsche Cayman and can tell you from experience that it is extremely costly to maintain and it ain’t as “issue-free” as many of you might think.

I think Genesis as a whole is starting to make a name for themselves in the luxury space. All their cars have a luxurious look and feel to them without the premium price tag.

Hyundai's recent phenomenal rise is exciting. The Sporty N line models to Genesis luxury offerings the brand is coming up strong all across. Wish this genesis had a fridge in the back like the original equus instead of Covid era UV disinfectant.
