my friend left this world a few months ago, and this poem literally describes us...

The part where he says "it's death that befell you" really hits hard. In one sentence the poem went from some random lamentation about betrayal to a grieving father who likens his son's passing to a kind of betrayal yet one the son had no control over, especially since the father describes his son as someone who would never betray him. Honestly that line is beautiful

So emotional, heartfelt and touching. May Allah have mercy on their souls!
Baha ad-din was an amazing poet, he was a poet for Sultan Salih Ayyub and he lived during the Ayyubid and Mamluk age. I really loved this! Please recite more of his poems!

Assalamu Alaikum brother only Allah Azzawajal knows what's the saddest lament we will hear so I would say it's best to change the caption.

Learn about your adversaries (Anglosaxon Protestants), otherwise, you will forever stay deaf dumb and blind, like those before you when your adversaries tricked them into ending their own Khalifa.
