When spraying the screen it's better to start at the bottom and work upwards, as it gives a more even coverage by reducing the dribbles that carry the fine droplets away. Also the bottom is the dirtiest, so the acid has longer to work.

I didn’t have this acid at home but found that WD40 works well for stubborn shower screen grime. The WD40 and a scourer pad got it looking brand new.

Using glass cleaning spray like Windowlene works every time for me. Keep it simple.

By far the best option is to rinse it as you finish showering, squeegee it, then dry it with the towel before you dry yourself. That way it never gets dirty. I do that every time I get a shower, never ever had to use any chemicals at all. And it is spotless all of the time, simple.

What to use to whiten the grout? It got yellowish due to my usage of purple shampoos, maybe it would have gotten yellowish even if I had used regular shampoos, the question is what to use to get it white again? Thank you.

Won't the acid affect the chrome framewok and taps? After complaing about a tap the supplier told me NO cleaning substances should be used - we do recommend not to use anything other than warm water and a cloth to clean the items.

Anything acidic will destroy your grout
