I crap in the yard. Haven’t had a clog in 25 years

I am a plumber, DON'T DO THIS. A toilet scrubber brush does NOT work as a plunger, you will just end up with a shitty brush.

I will say that $67 toilet auger was one of the best things I ever bought as someone who run’s maintenance for a 400 unit apartment building

Just casually following a random stranger around home depot, filming them. Totally normal.

As a maintenance supervisor at a large facility, i deal with clogged toilets, sinks, floor drains, septic systems. I'm telling you right now that a toilet brush would never work unless your toilet is clogged with cotton candy. And if one of the guys ever went to deal with a clogged toilet with a toilet brush they would get clowned forever after that lol

That brush won't clear out those hard logs. I call them human roots.

I like the cut of you pushing a brush in a toilet and magically it’s unclogged. Nice editing

If you’ve ever clogged the toilet at someone’s house, you’ve learned this one really fast.

When i was in the military our company came back from 2 week training exercise and naturally everyone went to drop their logs first thing. Well, one of our toilets got clogged and with only 3 toilets and 20 guys still waiting this newbie said "Like hell i'll wait!" marching out the bathroom. A minute or so later he came back with big black garbage bag. He put his hand in it, pulled it up to his elbow, and proceeded to ram his fist in to the clogged toilet.
After a brief moment of him working it we heard him flush the toilet and everyone cheered for him. He threw the bag in the bin and he went back in the stall to crap. Still the most manly thing I have seen a person do to this day.

Nice jump cut, really shows us that it works and you didn't just use a plunger

Had an issue with a toilet in an apartment. Landlord kept giving excuses as to why it wasn't flushing properly. Bought the auger and fought for 20 minutes. Kept getting hung ip on something. Finally got it free. Previous tenant had flushed a brush down it and it got caught in the bend. Once it was removed, toilet flushes as it should. Augers have their place.

Nice jump cut and I like the way you don’t even show that the toilet is clogged 😂

A brush isn’t going to unclog anything serious. That will only work if it’s barely clogged

Toilet brush trick doesn't usually work. I usually try that before bringing out the big guns. Best to just have a poop knife on hand. But remember kids, cut it in the bowl, not at the valve.

My dad would shove a water hose down the bowl as far as he could, and turn it on full blast. It always worked. We didn't drink out of that hose. LOL!

Doubt a toilet brush would clear 1% of the toilet clogs I see weekly.

A quarter- to half-cup of dish soap, to loosen the fat/mucus that's part of the feces that's in the block. Deliver it with Very Hot Water. It might take a few applications, but it works. And then check how old the sewer line from your building to the street line is. We had to replace ours in 2012. It had been installed in 1937. It was an iron pipe, and most of the caked-on stuff inside was what was holding it together.
