It can be both nerve-wracking and exciting to meet for the first time in a long-distance relationship. The initial meeting is one of the most crucial milestones in a long-distance relationship; it will determine whether or not there is even a relationship. Being yourself is the best thing you can do.

A long-distance relationship that does not include a face-to-face meeting should continue no more than two or three months. The reason for this is because the person with whom you are in a long-distance relationship is more of an idea that your mind develops based on the information they offer at this stage. This concept may appeal to you, but the reality may be quite different.

It's fine to put your trust in someone you're starting a long-distance relationship with. However, you should retain an open mind and be willing to let things unfold gradually but carefully.
