Neither US nor China could help Myanmar, because those two countries are trying to get power in Global politic arena. We need ILP to go to mizoram, I'm not interested in going to Mizoram but refugees being settled in mizoram and Manipur will finally become citizens of India. Next is they have ST n other status it's a drain on the social n economic resources of locals plus rest of India. In recent reports, India has 398 km long bordering with Myanmar and fenced only 6 km. How this 392 km border area kept unfenced throughout many years? We need more reinforcement army like ITBP, BSF not Assam Rifles, they can't do anything there. This let lots of infiltrators trespass through porous borders and formed terrorists groups and cause many problems which is currently happening in Manipur.

India couldn't fenced Indo-Myanmar borders or even manned properly 76 years after Independence. That's how much ignored North East region is, decades after decades. And now people in Manipur have to suffer as a result. If the border forces and paramilitary were honest in their work, everything in Manipur could have been avoided. I find that India could do more as a democracy in helping Myanmar because right now India invests in projects and works with the Military Junta, allegedly even supplying some arms. As a the world's largest democracy, India should strive to be better exemplars of this form of government, especially to her wartorn neighbor.
