These mil stories irk me. My first marriage, my in-laws never gave me issue. In fact I never realized how intrusive some mil's can be. My second marriage, my mil died right before my hubby and I met. His father, was older but so awesome that when he passed, I truly felt a broken heart and I had only knew him for almost 7 years. He was an awesome man and I am so thankful they raised a gentleman and treats me so great. That's a good set of parents right there. God bless those who have these deranged mil's.

The first story reminds me of one of my mom’s ex’s. He was creepy. I know he touched me one night I had been sleeping in my mom’s room with my mom when he was supposed to be at his own home. I felt so uncomfortable I just started staying at my grandmothers or my dads house. He died from a freak heart attack years ago before I could tell her about it.

Wow, I gave my daughters a door lock at 9, we have a key, but it is a knock thing first and mom who is one opens the door first, I give my daughters room to be little women, and if she isn’t home I tell them to get covered up with clothes and then I come in to talk . When a mother in law makes the first insulting comment about you for marrying her son, cut her completely out of your life-completely. Change your phone number and make sure she can't get it.
