I did struggle a bit with Crop Mood Magic Lantern on the Canon EosM but this is the most exciting thing to happen to the M in a while. I'm Loving the snappy ui and can't wait to see where Bilal takes this.

If there's any wrong info, let me know but hopefully this will help some of you get started.

I’ve donated my EOS M2 to Bilal - really deserves all the praise, also Danne and Alex of course. Looks like I can finally shoot 16:9 aspect ratio in 5K and use my anamorphic lenses. Brilliant !

This is beyond incredible! Been an EOS M user since 2012. Just tested and it is such an improvement over any previous Magic Lantern releases. Love the redesign.

Mate, I'm gonna be bold and say to newbies to MLV: Watch this video first then watch Bilal's for deep dive. This video gives the simplest explanation of various modes and resolutions to get started quickly. Thank you for making and sharing this. Brilliant really.

IMPORTANT - FOLLOW BILAL'S VIDEO FOR INSTALLATION - I GLOSSED OVER IT!

Also NEVER under-expose footage. Test the limits and join the group for more tips on longer record times in higher bit-rate.

I also use the NEW 170MB/s card not the old 95MB/s version hence the slower write speed.

Just finished that music vid session, I cant believe how reliable this new build was! I literally set it and forgot it, turned the camera on and off probably 10 times, recorded perfectly each time, didn't have to fiddle with any settings, my shutter stayed consistent, no crashing or pink frames. Basically I hit record and it did what it was supposed to like a real camera for once!

I finally did it...I put crop mood on the m lite😅 and I love it so far. I watched Bilals Video which allowed me to get all the basics done and I watched yours which you really helped with extending my recording time 🙌

You have put it all into words in a very comprehensive fashion. Even though I've had EOS M since over a year now with the SD card to install ML but I'm glad that I waited until now to install Magic Lantern Crop Mood..

For anyone that can not record continuously for some reason with the Sandisk Extreme Pro 95 mb/s card. Try changing the AccessMode from SDR104 to SDR50 from the SD Overlock submenu by pressing the play button. After changing it to SDR 50, restart the camera to let it apply the new setting. Then you should be good to go for continuous recording! I hope this helped!

Hello, I am just starting to use the crop mod and it is a great job and a pleasure to use. You have to keep in mind that this is only the first version with the first fixes and it already works great.

I've been testing it and it works great. i'm shooting 1x3 4.4k and I'm going to be taking my camera out to do some sports video shooting next weekend.

I'm sure I just missed it, but I can't seem to find the source of the problem where my EOS M only shoots a couple of seconds, then stops. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have the older 95MB/s Sandisk Card in 32GB Version but it does not work for me even I setup my Canon 100D (SL1 with the image) exactely with the same settings like you explained. It stops recording after 2 seconds. Are there any other SD Cards, which are better then the SanDisk Extreme Pro for Crop Mood?
