Kiri engine is pretty good at giving you a decent result with just any old phone. There are a lot of other photogrammetry apps too that might be just as good or even better. There's also some online tools where you just upload pics you took with a bigger (and maybe better) camera

I do it for Hollywood films. We actually use a Canon 5D and sometimes a rotating platform, but mostly we walk around it with a tripod on different heights. Sometimes we also do LIDAR for objects. But mostly that is enough. The rig you see in the video is for actors or other moving objects (dogs etc. ) that can’t hold still.

Speaking from experience using DSLR camera and software on PC provides better results with a more detailed model

Is there a eay to do a Pen grip for ping pong handles

As would the grip not be as strong anymore if it were so thinn and would it attach properly?

Of course they are because I think most of the work is done in software and the price they charge for some of these is flat out ridiculous when you have a camera on your phone someone needs to build an app to utilize any high end phone to become a 3D scanner I would buy that app in a heartbeat
