As a licensed esthetician I thank you guys for this video cause sometimes people don’t trust me as a professional so hearing actual doctors being pro microneedling is HUGE

I’ve had pretty much every facial going, and I can say with certainty that the microneedling has had the best effect long term on my skin. It got rid of my acne scars, hyperpigmentation, reduced pore size and fine lines around my eyes. I had to have multiple treatments but I’m going to keep this one up forever

I started with a dermaroller at home 0.5 and I didn’t notice a big difference and also got an infection because I imagine I hadn’t cleaned and sterilised properly. Now I have a Dr. Pen at home device and it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done for my skin. The Dr Pen has a dial so you can adjust the depth and super easy to use. My skin is tighter, younger, plumper and healthy looking. I am 53 and a skincare junky these days. This is definitely worth it. Too expensive in salon when it’s so easy to do yourself.

A video on microneedling vs microdermabrasion vs laser treatments for large pores or even chemical peels would be awesome! Trying to figure out what procedure I should do :)

I started microneedling at home at 27. Now, about 5 years later, I'm almost 32 and my skin still doesn't have a single wrinkle. I use sunscreen and retinol, too. Keep your skincare simple and be consistent. That's enough.

I liveeee for microneedling. Glad to see derms not immediately shut it down. I always suggest people get it done first if they are nervous, so they can get a feel for it and see a professional do it.

I did microneedlig with prp for my acne scars and with one session my scars are barely visible. It really made a difference in my skin and my confidence. Can't wait to get another treatment in.

Thanks for discussing micro-needling. I haven’t tried it yet because I didn’t want to damage my skin. I have a roller that hasn’t been used because I always have this lingering thought of damaging my already aging skin 😊 I definitely like the stamping method with disposable tips. I am going to try this out. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Also, thanks to Dr. Shah for letting us know that optimistic people are late 😂 I can’t wait to inform my husband that there is absolutely nothing wrong with me always being late; I mean, I am just an optimist!!!
As always, you two are greatly appreciated for sharing your knowledge of skincare. I love this channel.

Swear you guys are reading my mind, because I just finished my first microneedling treatment. My tech was excellent and even though I’ll need more sessions to reach my goals, I already see a slight improvement in skin smoothness.

I cannot believe I came across this video. Super informative and even better by real dermatologists. Thank you guys 😊

I'm an esthetician and my attention span for these types of videos are minimal. You are so engaging together I can actually watch these for continued education. Thanks!

You guys are awesome! I’ve been searching for some clear and cohesive advice about micro-needling for a few months now and this video was great!

I'm microneedle at home once a week. 0.5 all over my face and 1.5mm for hair line.
I wash my face first, then microneedle, then use a vitamin c oil, followed by a moisturiser. I disagree with needing to change your device after each use. I've been using the same devices for months now, without issue.
I simply spray with an anti bacterial spray before use, leave for 5 mins, then rinse off and use. After use, I respray and leave in the case until next time.
Since using my fine lines around my eyes have reduced. My black rings around my eyes have massively reduced, and my bags have disappeared.
My pores have reduced and I no longer get spots. My hairline has started growing back through and I don't even use minoxidil. My wife said she has even notice a blatant difference around my eyes, especially my dark circles and bags.

No need to be scared of it. It doesn't hurt, and so long as you make sure the hygiene part of it is in check then you'll be fine.

Note; your supposed to roll and lift then repeat, not just roll continuesly, hence the dragging affect on the banana if you don't LIFT after each roll.

Just got micro-needling done at a skin institute, it really was worth it. They numb your face first and it didn't hurt too bad. The woman, who was also a student explained to me step by step what she was going to do. The redness went away and it felt to me like a mild sunburn. I will be going back to this school and getting a facial and chemical peel along with a neck lift in a couple of months. I like to also in a couple of years, get another microneedling done again.

What I can say is MAKE SURE you COMPLETELY remove any numbing cream. I did microneedling no problem until I decided to just wipe off the numbing cream one time, had a HUGE reaction, red face for days, didn’t recover for months. Even now I think my skin is worse than before the treatment

I’ve had 3 microneedling sessions for mild ice pick scarring and my skin looks horrendous for about 3 weeks after each treatment. By week 5 though my skin looks amazing! I recommend it 🙂

I’ve been incorporated dermarolling into my anti-aging skin care routine and I think it’s fabulous. When done correctly, you can visibly see a difference in your skin. I’m 41 and people always tell me I look like I’m in my early 30s. For reference, I use a 0.3mm needle, a device that was approved by Health Canada and I only roll 1-2 a week.

Thank you so much for this Doctor Eyecandy and Doctor Eyecandy. I have been contemplating getting this done and now I'm sold. I love having more knowledge prior to going for a procedure. I am 64.5 years old. Everything about this procedure makes sense because aerating your face has the very same benefits as doing my property aerating right? Watching both of you simply elevates my day!

the fact that you can get numbed and laughing gas for a derm procedure but not for an iud insertion 😅 love being a woman
