What's with the weird thing Disney Cruise Line do for tipping the crew?

At 3pm on every Cunard Cruise Line ship this happens. Afternoon tea like nothing you’ve seen before.

They want you to give them more money so they don't have to pay them what they are worth. People on Vacation will spend more money on tips because they are happy. If you don't believe me, go to a department store on caffeine, and then go without caffeine. You are more likely to spend more money because the caffeine makes you happy, and gives you energy. That is why in stores like Target they typically have a coffee shop in them.

Sailed with them before. It was AMAZING! Nevertheless I’m not persuaded nor pressured by “envelopes” they can suck it. JMO

Most of the employees on the ship are from very poor backgrounds comparatively. I have always felt compelled to tip based on my experience and DCL employees are typically far and away more engaged than other line’s crew are. If you don’t want to add extra, there’s nothing wrong with that but I think it’s a good thing to be honest. Especially so when cruises come out of European markets since Europeans tend to be sorry tippers across the board.

It’s BS. Anything Disney is already expensive and on top of that they charge you a gratuity. But to expect you to pay for more gratuity on top of the initial gratuity they already forced you to pay is complete BS. Thus the reason why I no longer do anything Disney.
