Absolutely amazing product demo; at @2:53 I felt like time slowed down and I was actually transported to an ethereal place, and then the simple phrase “magic” was the perfect cherry on top to capture it all

We’re sorry that we can't answer all of your questions directly... but here's a couple answers to some of the FAQ's: First off, regarding additional features and functionality... this video really only demonstrates the "tip of the iceberg!" CHOMPI is designed to evolve! Once we fulfill all of our kickstarter pre-orders this Fall, we plan to start releasing Alternate Firmware Options and expanding the ever growing CHOMPI ecosystem. We don't want to give away too many secrets just yet... but it's safe to say that this is only the beginning. // With regards to pricing, the Kickstarter Pre Order Price will be $499USD. We understand that this may be out of reach for some people… but to be completely transparent with you all, if we could offer CHOMPI for a lower price (while still retaining its high quality hardware and ethical business practices) we would. I want this for the same reason I wanted a harmonica as a kid, I feel like I could make all this bad ass music easily. In reality it will be harder than expected and I won't put in the time or effort and it will end up in a box somewhere and I will only see it every 10-15 years when I move house.

this is fucking awesome. it's like a PO-33 with a looper instead of a sequencer. i'm curious about the loop time limit, presets, resampling, I/O, and midi capabilities. would be a nice addition to hardware enthusiasts!

I honestly don't know why, but for the past 2 weeks, this specific video has been my comfort video. There is just something so warm and welcoming about it, even without the dream-like beat at the end.

Holy crap. I am LOVING this. At first I was excited for a super cool new music gadget that was pushing the industry closer and closer to giving the OP-1 some competition. That transport knob is nuts. Unlike a lot music making machines where its all about beatmaking this is really up my alley with making unique sounds and ambient tracks. Im really excited for this! And even more excited to hear about more of the features. Only question I have is can you quantize on the CHOMPI?
