Ukraine must win, Europe, step up the support!

Ukraine has to win - and be seen to do so. The USA has always been late entering the fight. The USA has always tended to isolationism. In the modern world it needs trusted allies. No empire, and America is akin to a modern empire, can go it alone. The present trend is to more isolationism and that is disastrous for America and the wider world.

Why do American commentators ignore the fact that the European long range missiles need approval from the USA because the guiding systems use American satellites to project co-ordinates onto the target. It is almost as if they don't want to accept responsibility over their own refusal to give this permission.

Now is the time that Europe has to take the lead and get involved in Ukraine. They need to put boots on the ground and show PUTA that Europe will not be entertaining any aggressive actions by any country toward the EU and NATO. Also it is time for Ukraine to be admitted and fast tracked to NATO.

I'm a US citizen (though I live elsewhere). As such, let me say that US democracy is on life support. I sadly suggest no democracy, European or otherwise, should expect anything from the US with regard to security or economic cooperation. I believe the US is going down, the only question is how far and fast the dissipation happens.
