1:40 When searching for a spot, ignore the resources colors, and check BIOMES. Click around to set a landing spot (it shows what biome you'll land) and land your ship BETWEEN them (very close to where they change). That will make it so you can have different resources on the same outpost. Like Iron on mountains, and Helium-3/aluminum on plains. My outpost on andraphon has the 3 basic ones. Keep in mind that if a planet/moon has no atmosphere (wind turbines) and it's cold (solar gen), power generation will be limited/challenging. I had to use 2 extractors just to keep my generator going.

To allow for fast forwarding time, as passage of time for extractors is on UT time. Go to Venus, sleep for 24 hours, then return to your mine.

I made a base on Andraphon, it never produced anything and was constantly attacked and with time dilatation it would have been a joke anyway

Don't buy ANYTHING from the merchants except.. SHIP PARTS in your ship builder.

That is how Starfield is supposed to be played. Every time you buy something from a shop you are diminishing the CHALLENGES built into the game.

Shit my man. I am on Andaphron for first base and while it took an absolute disgusting amount of walking around with the Outlost thing out to check what resources were available. I found a spot that had everything the planet had to offer in one place. I guess its time to spend a disgusting amount of time on Zamaka lol
