$3800 for a J type guitar puts it in a place where probably 75% of guitarists won’t consider.

That Sire is going to be huge competition for the Player Jazzmaster.

I have a Goldo DG trem in one of my Jazzmaster build and it’s awesome and really stable.

It’s nice to see some new options, especially with unique design elements, on the market to give people more to choose from and some cool looking models I’m actually intrigued to try here!

I own an early Eastman slim hollow bodied 12 string built in Canada. I added locking tuners, and better trapize for holding the 12 strings, but other than those improvements.... the rest is stock. Very few are still around, but everyone I've let use it on recordings wants to buy it from me. Of course that's a NO WAY. My original 60s Epie Dot is another wonderful axe. For whatever reason my Sears Silvertone piggy back double 12, is another one that gets regularly into the studios. Because I'm now in my mid 70s, I lend or sometimes rent out my amps and guitars ...21 guitars, 10 classic amps... I now enjoy knowing new products for musicians are evolving, and out there. When I started, to get fuzz we slashed one speaker with a razor
blade, and used a speaker toggle switch to go back and forth one to the other! Now, living in the north border country, and at tge "end of the road", I have a 24 track studio, with outboard gear that can do damn near anything. I love the fact this gear and instruments became within reach money wise. It's wonderful. Keep the music going, and keep the garage shake'n!

Full watch Freshy Awesome Data as always Pro! I've talked to John Woodland of Mastery in 2010 when I got my first Jazzmaster. What a great guy!

DiGG that Black Bobbin! All of em! Really wish we'd have more shorter scale options someday though. Never liked the Fender 25.5 standard but I make it work when I need to.

I love seeing new guitar models. Always a good thing. Digging the Black Bottom and interesting who is building it. 👀

Would love to hear your thoughts on the Harmony Silhouette with the gold foil pickups.

RE: the Black Bobbin. I like a lower value pot on Jazzmaster pickups anyway. That's actually a plus in my book. I've got one of those Squier Paranormal series Cabronita Tele, and I installed Pure Vintage JM pickups in it. The stock 250k pots sound fantastic on it. I think it's a lot more balanced of a tone than what I got with the AmPro JM I sold a couple years ago.

I am VERY interested in the Sire Offset! Getting some serious GAS for those!

Well, so long as you don't want/need a rhythm circuit on your offset? 🤔

I wonder if the Sire is actually routed out for it under the guard -- I remember when CME did some Player FSRs that was pre-routed to allow you to mod, but left off the electronics to lower the price a bit.

BTW, I prefer 24 frets on everything. I just like the way the neck feels and where the fret position lines up when i have it strapped in playing position.

6:05 that’s a staple p90 pickup. Not a Charlie Christian. But still pretty sick.

I really don’t understand who this 3-5k boutique guitar market is for. Who is their target customer?

The best Offset guitar for me is Talman! But Eastman's D'Ambrosio also looks good😊
