So this is the Beats Pill, now I really appreciate the great build quality of this speaker, I love that you can use its USB C port to charge your own devices and it has a long battery life. However, for me it is hard to justify this speaker due to its price to performance ratio. But then theres the Bose Soundlink Flex which is a little older and its price to performance ratio isn’t as good as id want it to be in 2024… but it does sound decent and it has a lot of bass to it. Nonetheless if you’re trying to choose between either of these two speakers, let's see which one is right for you.

I have both these and love em both. I have to give the edge to the bose flex. Definately performs better at higher volumes with better bass. But both are great. Only overpriced if ur cheap.

I paid $100 for my Bose Soundlink Flex while on sale @ Bestbuy. I actually prefer it to my Charge 5 and Flip 6. So much so that I purchased another Flex. The Charge 5 does get louder but when leaving the house to go to the beach, I grab the Flex due to its portability.

To be fair, I don't think the flex is all that overpriced. The battery life could be better but it's not bad considering it came out in 2021.

This recording makes the Bose sound different. I played the same song on my speaker and it sounded much better. Listening with my Flex both times.

Check out the Harman Kardon Luna, I just bought one and it's sounds fantastic, lot of bass like the Bose Soundlink Flex and better clarity due to it's tweeter, it's the best of both worlds for me.

The overpriced is not concerned if you want durability consistency the Bose is the way to go.I don't understand why no one mention that aspect as a price to the quality of construction is a beast at list. My Bose has almost 3 years and still rocks like crazy.

I don’t know. It’s kind of hard to justify spending over $99.99 for a small portable Bluetooth speaker. If it’s going to be used indoors only then the price is warranted.

I just purchased a Soundcore Boom2 for $99.99 on Amazon. I like it, but unfortunately it just doesn’t perform as well as I would’ve liked for outdoor use.

It performs very well indoors, but once I took it outside it was lacking detail & clarity in the midrange, getting dwarfed by the highs & bass. This is due to the fact that the midrange is provided only by the single racetrack woofer.

I listen to mostly rock music. Outdoor performance is lacking for me. If I can get another one for $99.99 or less, I will & pair both together for TWS. For outdoor use, I don’t feel that it’s worth the full retail price of $129.99.

For indoor listening it’s fabulous, for outdoor listening, I find that it could use more midrange. Indoor & outdoor acoustics are very different.😊

I’ve watched some comparison videos between this speaker & the JBL FLIP 6. Reviewers are saying that it performs just as well or even better than the JBL.😮

If anything the beats is the overpriced one, i got my flex for 100 dollars, only suckers buy it for the retail price.

Got both. You notice the better bass and battery life on the Beats. And bluetooth 4.2 on the flex is not great

I would go for the beats pill because it’s well balanced frequency while the Bose mid highs and high frequency is lower than the beats pill and u can see it and hear it. “Bose sounds a bit louder than beats pill” cuz of the bass

A terrible choice of music for the sound test. The Bose flex sound is very balanced and extremely good to listen too. There is no better small speaker on the market.

Bose flex for $129 AUSTRALIAN Dollars is what l paid. At that price is an absolute bargain for such a speaker.
