Great lesson on a very non-intuitive topic for the English speakers of Spanish. The simple rule that in most cases "ar" verbs in subjunctive conjugate as "ir, er" verbs in present tense and vice versa makes it so much easier to use it in real life.

Finally! My Spanish brick wall is now busting apart. Problem is, I’ve gone so many years speaking ‘Tarzan Spanish’ without using the subjunctive that I no longer need to think first in English. It automatically comes out in Spanish. Now that I understand the subjunctive, I need to stop mid sentence, think in English what the subjunctive conjugation is, add it and then carry on. 😂 Really would like to thank you again, Paul.
