This is a trap!! Yes you can transfer your old data to the Samsung but once it's captured, it's encrypted and you can NOT export it to a different brand of phone using smartswitch!! Period!! I made this mistake and now I can NOT export my music files to my new phone of different brand. Samsung music will Not allow it!! Also, Samsung does updates that drain your battery. Italy sued Samsung successfully for planned obsolescence. Google that!! I will never buy another Samsung phone!! I tried to upload my music to one drive but I get a message that there are incompatible characters. I suspect samsung added those. I've had the same music library for 10 years and had no issues transferring it until now. Screw you Samsung!!

What menu did you select on the Samsung to do the transfer? Also did you need to select anything on the Blackberry?

Should I take out the SD card from old phone and put in new phone before transfer? Or will that cause duplicates?
After several new phones, it seems I keep getting duplicates on duplicates.

How do you transfer all in app data? I did the smart switch as well all my apps showed up but when I go in it's like I'm starting from scratch. When t mobile did it from my S10 to S21 ultra everything transferred as well as all my in app data. I've backed up everything but nothing seems to work.

Galaxy S21 (Not Ultra) doesn't have a card. You did not address that.
