I have a 2023 wildtrak v6 that has done over 40 000km all over wild Botswana and Lesotho towing an offroad trailer and it has had no problems at all. I am very happy with the ranger.

A 2024.5 ranger wildtrak v6 owner here, just had an issue with the EBB(electronic brake booster) with the vehicle, totally lost control with the foot brake in my garage. It happened with in 2 months of purchase. Hoplefully I somehow stopped the vehicle and nobody was hurt. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealship. And I waited around 2 weeks to let the dealer fix it. Now i'm out of ford and claiming for a full refund and accessaries.

But what about all the warranty issues with the Ford? That 10 speed transmission does have a checkered history.

My 2019 UK model of the little Ford Ranger 3.2 Wildtrak is doing me just fine. Does everything it was built to do without fuss or struggle. As reliable as day follows night.
Mechanically maintained intelligently. Driven intelligently. Never felt the need to drag race a truck personally. I use it off road through rocky terrain 6 days a week and I'm all good. So is the truck. It handles whatever with a 😎
I waited a whole year for my ordered very cool looking 3.0 V6 but ran out of patience with Ford as the wait kept getting extended and extended, so decided to stick with my trusted 2019 Wildrak. Best personal decision I made I think.
If it ain't broke...
Interesting video. Thanks for posting. 🙏

Both are my memorial values.. The Ford Ranger was my introduction to my 4x4 fanaticism. The 2002 ford ranger trekker was the first offroad car we rode making superior to lorries.. The 2012 Fortuner which is Hilux body is an entrustment and replacement to 2002 ford ranger. Also the reincarnation of diesel Hilux based 4runner. Now we had Terra ( Navara based Suv ) and Fortuner ( 2012 Hilux suv ) and im happy.

I drive a 2018 Fiat Fullback 2.4 4x4 Auto dual cab. It has everything I need but It weighs on average half a ton less than these two... Crazy how heavy these have become! If you want performance, add lightness!

Something is wrong. The Ranger driver didnt get out and put his fist through the window

Got to be the Hilux had a 2018 model and now have a 2024 Hilux, though about a Ranger but when I drove it everything rattled and felt like it would break soon. Hilux will go on forever!

In Mexico we have the tacoma and the hilix, however the hilux is not offered with the wider rear axle and the rear sway bar that the Rouge has. ='(. Also, i would like to see a Rouge without the 48V batery and standard transmision.

So slow. When you see them on the road, the owners think they can take anyone on!!!😂😂😂

GR sport hasn't got anything on the v6 Wildtrak let alone the Raptor.

265mm is the nominal width thru the sidewall, Not the tread width.

You’ll get pretty bored with the nearly decade old interior in the Hilux though (I forgot they did stick on the odd shaped tweeters that Mis match the dash)

Let see mv triton vs hilux, i think i would prefer to buy a gwm canon than a ford ranger, if i am going to buy an unreliable vehicle it may as well cost cheaper.

And the canon still has a superior interior to a hilux

150 kw 2.4 ton 4 cylinder diesel utes. = dog slow. They are what they are.

I own a FX4 max 2 litre biturbo 2020 model and it is without a doubt the best 4x4 dual cab ute on the market .I bought it because of my extensive 20 year use of work utes I drive up to 15000 klms a year over a 20 year period and through all types of terrain steep mountain bush tracks and cross country where there are no tracks through washed out gullies extremely steep hillsides ploughed farm paddocks and thick crop stubble paddocks long thistles and native grasslands and every type of terrain and to date have driven and worn out a MitsubishiTriton, 2 Hilux utes, a Holden Colorado, all fully equipped for of road use incidentally and have in the last 8 years driven 2 Ford Rangers and the Ford Rangers leave all the rest in the dust. The hiluxes in my opinion are the most overated pieces of crap that i have ever driven . And recently towed a 2.8 tonne off road hybrid caravan with my FX4max throughout northern NSW, Queensland, Northern Territory, and South Australia doing 6000klms in16 days the trip included the birdsville track, the plenty highway both of which were in bad repair after a very wet season .At one stage of the plenty highway my son was driving in front of me when he called on the CB to stop so he could let some air from his tyres and he asked how my ute was going with the corrugations and I replied what corrugations and he frowned back as if i was being smart but my response was genuine and he asked how much pressure was in my tyres and i replied 40 psi but the Ranger has Fox shocks all round as a standard fitment and i did not need to change my tyre pressures for the whole trip. I did a lot of research before purchasing the Ranger and it has a lot of plus features that is standard for instance the turbos impellars are made of extremely high quality metals used in aircraft engines to prolong turbo life also it is equipped with a 250 amp alternator so running more accessories is done with ease along with a fully fused 6 switch pack mounted on the dash for easy plug and play accessories no more mounting switches in the dash and drlling holes in hard to get to places. The engine has a couple of unique longevity features for instance it has wet timing belt that Ford have used smartly because of running in sump oil will tripple timing belt life and Ford have modified the crankshaft allighnment by offsetting the crank by 5 degrees so as to compensate for piston kick in the combustion chamber when engine is running to totally eliminate bore ovaling as the engine wears. In short the piston fires directly down with zero piston kick leading to longer engine life. Along with heaps of ground clearance excellent approach and departure angles along with a shorter wheel base than other makes .l could go on all day about the Ford Rangers features but for me there isn't a better vehicle than Ford !!!!
