I'm using J7 2016 right now, and I can say it's really good phone for the price. It never slowed down for me, and it runs everything without any problems, plus battery is a beast. J7 Prime also looks good, but since screen is not amoled and it's 1080P (which is a bit too much for Exynos 7870 I think), I rather went for cheaper option with almost the same specs.

RAM management might be fixed with update to Nougat I guess, but if it stays the same then there's really no reason to go for Prime over regular J7. And Prime was also not available here when I was buying the phone.

you can find endless reviews on the J7 2016 . I think that currently the best bang of the buck for now, Samsung has already announced that this phone will be getting the 7.0 Nugget update.
the only thing that is VERY important that the J7 2016 is missing is the fingerprint luck.
while the J7 prime has it built in.
there is also more news from Samsung. the J7 2017 will be coming out very shortly . very little info on that phone .but what is known that it be coming out with android 7.0

When you have 20 apps open and you choose the 20th app, it's almost always going to refresh. You should start choosing ones towards the middle of the list when testing out if they refresh or not.

This is kind of a "noob" question but, how do you get to use the fingerprint scanner as a menu button to go back to the menu? Can't seem to do that. (I have fingerprint lock enabled.)
