You’re not wrong. I still think that Apple & UMG should reissue the Capitol albums, though (and not in a boxed set at an extortionate price).

I honestly cant say that. In the context of the us albums, its a great follow up to the previous rubber soul and yesterday & today. Imo, still enjoyable even without the 3 songs. John getting the side closers just feels so cool to me.

I grew up with American version never missed the extra songs .wasn't until years later I heard the UK version.i liked the US album I was hoping it would be included in the Revolver box.capitol did get it right with Rubber Soul imo.better album on Many levels
