I am so old I recall the theatre across the street, being named The Hollywood Palace, it was great when ABC had a Saturday night show called The Hollywood Palace .The Hollywood Palace tv show, had a different host every Saturday night, I enjoyed watching Adam West, pullup to The Hollywood Palace in the Batmobile, dressed as Batman and seeing The Capital Records Building in the background .If anybody is interested it is here on YouTube . After the tv show The Hollywood Palace was cancelled, Merv Griffin moved his show from New York City to Hollywood and used The Hollywood Palace for a few years .
