The Feynman Technique is a unique learning method that prioritizes simplicity and challenges you to develop a depth of understanding.

Richard Feynman was Nobel prize-winning physicist whose superpower was his ability to explain complicated subjects in simple terms. He realized that jargon, vague words, and complexity revealed a lack of understanding.

As a communications professional, I “borrow” this technique to help write, speak and communicate almost anything, more effectively.

It stops me from overthinking it, and reminds me to keep it simple.

There are four key steps to the Feynman Technique:
1. Set the Stage and Be Curious
2. Explain it to a 12 year old
3. Assess, Refine, and Re-Adjust
5. Organize, Test and Review

Watch the video and let me know what you think.
