Don't worry Mr. Panda. I enjoy hearing you speak Japanese. You speak English very well though. :) I remember when I first started watching you guys you hardly ever spoke English and would have to ask Abi for help with some words. You are really improving. I enjoyed having you both in the video. I hope you have time to do more together in the future. I have never used a fountain pen but this really makes me want to try it.

In Germany, we usually get our first fountain pen in elementry school. It's only a learner's one but I've basically written with a fountain pen most of my life and I love it 💖 (also my handwriting looks so much better when I write with a fountain pen 😅)

I love how fountain pens look, and the way they write, but I am the person who would be a giant mess trying to load the pens or what have you, so I will stick with standard pens for my sanity.

Lamy fountain pens might be harder to get in Japan (I'm not sure) but it is the smoothest pen in my collection. You should try it if you get the chance! It might be a bit expensive tho

Ink bars? INK BARS??? All i have in my country are generic stationery stores that mostly carry Parker and cheap Pelikan pens. As for inks it's usually Parker, Waterman (blue and black only) and some noname standard international cartridges. For 50ml Iroshizuku bottle i'd have to pay ca. 35-40 euro :(


Edit: Today i got Platinum Preppy with 0, 3mm (which is equivalent to Extra Fine) nib in the mailbox. Although a bit scratchy, i have to agree with Mr. Panda - it really is a good writer.

i always have problem cleaning my fountain pens xD .... use them ones in a while so they dont dry up n clog the pen :DDD

My kid (almost 10year old boy) wants me to buy him one of these but I told him when he gets older I will
