Eddie Redmayne is always with a book and a beautiful girl under the trees in the movies.
Jack & Aliena in the "Pillars of the earth" and now Angel & Tess here!!!! ♥

Eddie Redmayne is the only actor who has played Angel on screen and made him remotely forgivable (at the end) Peter Firth and Oliver Milburn's Angels were as self-satisfied and despicable as the one in the novel. Well done Mr Redmayne

Both leading men in this movie at one time or another played Marius in Les Miserables. rather cute, i think. especially since one of them is also Newt Scamander.

Thank you for uploading these clips! I've never read the novel, but I may pick it up sometime. It's so sad, though.

What is the name of the song that Angel was playing on his instrument? It sounds vaguely like The Lament of Owen Roe O'Neill in some parts, but I'm not so sure. Strange thing is, the first time I heard the Lament (before I watched this series), the first thing I thought of was Tess and her last moments with Angel at Stonehenge.

She would have been a fine princess if she were real.
