I live in NY and most of the places i fish in NJ are all at least an hour away. (lots of electric and HP restricted lakes that are closer though). This time of year, im up at 2:45-3am which gets me on the water by 4:45-5...by the time i get out of the house and make a coffee stop, its always right at 2 hours. Hell, there have been times i just sleep in my truck at the boat launch so i can get out super early....gotta do what you gotta do.

My friend who just started fishing asked if I can take him Bass fishing in the middle of Summer. He said, "8am sounds good?" I said, "Sun is up at 4:46am. We need to be out on the lake at 4am. So, meet me at 3:15am". He cried. lol.

early morning isn't good on bright moon lit nights because the fish feed at night in summer that's why we night fish, i've caught so many at night mid summer and when the sun starts rising the bite stops completely even the evening bite with top water anyway in my experience so moon phase comes in to effect but i've caught them in the middle of the day pretty good in summer heat in shallow water, i can produce fish at night on buzzbait and frog open water shallows mid day in my fishery anyway, but you're right summer can be tough so start night fishing it's a blast, you can sleep when you're dead, keep up the good work buddy

3 weeks in a row I caught a nice size fish at 5:40am! Last week was 5.22lbs! Also, been driving to a lake 45 minutes away instead of the one 10 minutes away to catch more fish for the amount of time I have to fish! These tips are right on!

This weekend I was camping near a small lake in Rockford Il, northern IL right near WI border. In the morning I would see tons of bait fish jumping on the surface. Is that when I should have been throwing a top water frog, or I have a moonwalker? I was throwing Ned rig, wacky rig, Texas worm on weighted hook and only caught a few little bass near rocks with the Texas. I did get my sister, niece and two other adults on some bluegill for their first fishing experience. Felt great to turn on others to fishing!!

What’s up bud. It’s a amazing how much you do know about fishing. I have been fishing since I was a kid. And I am 49 yrs old. And since I have been watching your channel. I have caught more fish with your advise then I ever thought. Thanks bud. And keep pulling in the pigs!

Best bass fishing channel on YouTube Tyler. You deserve a million followers. Way better than all the bro-fishermen. Been subbed for years. Your "10 days for a 10" is one of the best "fishing shows" I've enjoyed. I'd love to see more goal oriented content like that. But not "catching bass with Walmart tackle" content. Keep up the great work man!

On that video before this one it was painful to watch you cast & cast, with hardly a bite, but I experienced it a couple of weeks ago & did it for 4 hrs, that's the way it is this time of year, but if you could fish a river, where there's current, you probably catch more fish than a lake. Sacrificing sleep is my biggest problem, at my age of 57 it gets harder to go without it. Great video!

I don’t have a boat yet, but I live only 10 mins from the infamous Lake St. Clair here in Michigan. So I am thankful that I don’t have to get up super early to incorporate a long drive into when to wake up.

I seriously can't wait for some cool fronts too! It's been slow going in DFW, Sat mornins we're doing OK till the walking running groups started spooking the fish in a already very pressured water body...wish I had a boat to chase after the bass!

My home lake is a power plant with water temps in the mid 90’s. Its only a 15 minute drive for me to get to and I like the challenge it gives. Sometimes its frustrating not catching, but i feel the challenge will make me better and i feel good not spending money on gas.😂
