When my husband brought our dog home 11 years ago we fought and fought, I did NOT want a Pit Bull around my am glad he won because she is the best dog I have ever known and I have no worries when my daughter plays outside because she is so protective of her.

One thing about Pits is they LOVE children and always want to be around them.

I cried through the whole thing because I’m on my 3rd Pit after a lifetime of dogs and I don’t think I can have anymore. I’m too old and if something happens to me I don’t want them ending up in the shelter. I never had a favorite breed until my first breed and they are always so badly abused. The best dogs ever. My soulmate was my Pit Sam who died in August 2019. Such a gentle spirit. RIP my brindle boy.

I had a Pitbull named “Brad Pitt” (My Mom gave him the name because she loves the well known actor haha) Brad helped me through so much in a weird period of my life. I honestly never felt love like I felt for anything before. He showed me what unconditional love could be like. No judgements, no lies, and no pain. I cherished every moment I had with him. He was sadly hit by a car and for a long time I couldn’t bare to watch anything Pitbull related. As I sit here with tears in my eyes I hope he is somewhere peaceful and one day I’ll see him again. I love you Brad more than you’ll ever know, more than I’ll ever love another human being. To everyone who owns one of these beautiful creatures, enjoy every single moment.. My aunt used to have a pit bull. He was the sweetest boy ever! He never growled at kids, he protected me and my cousins! Hell, when my cousin got injured at the playground, Bulldozer (that’s his name) ran so fast over to him and cuddle until the ambulance came, then comforted me, his sister, and another cousin because we were crying for our older cousin. Bulldozer sadly passed away and it was hard on the whole family,

Every single vid of every pittie is absolutely true! Watching with my pit rescue, only 3 months old, and he already does all of those things. I named him Jackpot as I feel like the luckiest person on earth to get to share my life with this special boy.
