I’m considering getting an online mba, but I’m having a hard time picking a school. Every one I look at has a huge list of certifications, and claim to be “the best”.

I don’t want to spend more that I have to, but I also don’t want to end up with a useless piece of paper from a diploma mill.

How do you evaluate an mba school?

I did my mba at wgu, I did it in 2 months and it's fully accredited!!! Totally worth 4k, I will be starting my data science masters in August. Maybe FAU or UT at Austin because they are affordable.

Hi, Richard. In doing research due to interest in the UIUC iMBA program, I learned that Gies had ended their residential full-time MBA program a few years ago. Some people, especially the residential full-time MBA alumni, argue that ending the residential full-time MBA program is detrimental to the reputation of Gies Business School and makes alumni of the school lose credibility. They also say that it diminishes the value of the iMBA program when there isn't a tether to a full-time residential MBA counterpart at the school that helps sustain national rankings and quality standards. Would you say that this is a valid concern or not? Moreover, since Gies no longer has a residential full-time MBA program, anyone knowledgeable of the situation would know that the degree you get from the iMBA program was delivered online even if the diploma doesn't say so. What are your thoughts about that? For this reason, would BU Questrom's online MBA program be a superior option since Questrom still has a full-time residential MBA option? Thanks!

I recently completed my University of Louisiana online MBA and I was able to confirmed that my MBA does not said ‘online’ on my degree. Even my official transcript have no indication that the class was taken online.

I see the program says most of the core subject has “4 Credit Hours; 8 Weeks in Length”

That means every week I have 4 hrs class for a total of 8 weeks. Correct ?
